Okay, you may file it under "rubato" or whatever but it's either that Tommy's a tad too fast with his vocals for the drummer or the latter is just too slow. Greenday's orig. grooves & flows and this one really does not. I also like the laid-back vocals in the orig that contrast with the frantic guitar/drums. The vocals here are hysterical from the get-go. Love it as kind of a gimmick and Tommy's a great guy, but that's about it. Nice reminder that not every song needs to get metallized. Cheers!
