Yeah, this song is one of the favorites - 3:49 of distilled rock music. In quick, two verses and choruses, a solo break, a bridge, the final chorus and out quick with a stinger. Bang! Done. Did anybody get the number of that truck?

I only found them two years ago and after a few weeks started realizing that nearly every Band-Maid song makes you declare it to be your favorite and almost forget the last one. And then you'll be minding your own business and one of their songs just pops into your head and you can't evict it! Every song they write is addictive.

Blooming is off my favourite album Conqueror, other stellar tracks off this album for which there are MV's are Bubble, Rinne (Reincarnation), Endless Story, Glory, Wonderland (live) and The Dragon Cries. All very different songs.

I'm so glad you liked this one. Aways ready to welcome another Maidiac into the Pigeon Hole. From Blooming's bridge to the outro is perhaps the greatest musical composition I've ever heard. You owe it to yourself to listen to the Manners/Black Hole 2fer. Manners is my favorite Band Maid song, and the sonic assault of Black Hole will blow your mind. Then I highly recommend you check out About Us. About Us is one of the most important pieces of music for me personally. Story time. As we all know 2020 and 2021 were awful years. Streets empty, schools and businesses closed or restricted, masks everywhere, missing family. And just as we thought it might be getting better, Delta claimed the life of my 32 y-o sister in law. Our family was devastated. Into that hole of grief rode 5 lovely ladies with an achingly beautiful song and a message of hope - that whoever I was, wherever I was, they were thinking of me. They had my back. I will forever be grateful to Miku for her lyrics, for Saiki's speech when they introduced it, for the compassionate playing of the power trio. I cannot listen to the song without tears: of both grief and gratitude. I weap them now as I write. Go listen to About Us. Lyrics on. You deserve it.

I know it's just an opinion...but I see Blooming as Band Maid's "Stairway to Heaven". No, not their best song, but one that shows how collectively great the individual parts can be. Each member was tasked by Kanami to be more participatory in the writing process. The result was BLOOMING ! Truly a masterpiece !

Music is incredibly important to me and B-M is the band of my lifetime, I am happily, gloriously, intoxicated by these charismatic musical unicorns and their never ending well of creativity, love seeing your reactions to these Rock Valkyries, perhaps wearing brown corduroys might help. @@philproffitt8363 It's uncanny how BM created the perfect distillation of the hard-rock/pop-rock three-minuter with _Dice_ (except that it's four minutes, but seems to be over in two). BM seem to be one of very few bands left who are prepared to put the work into producing such deceptively complex songs/arrangements - I already mentioned Misa's bass line, most players would be content with something FAR simpler and it just wouldn't be the epic it is. ETA >> no, _Blooming_ is The One, no wait .... aaargh.

Funnily enough, this isn't one of my favourites but I still love it if that makes sense. B-M things. The drums are stand out in this one for me. And I love that they never stop dropping ridiculously good riffs into songs just for the hell of it, even if to just end a song with a bit of an extra flourish.

Brilliant reaction 🥜 💩 “Blooming” might be the perfect Band Maid song. It has all the elements that make them so unique. This is from their “Conqueror” album, which has a distinct sound and vibe. Another great song from this album would be “Bubble.” One of Kanami’s best riffs. I haven’t seen many recommendations for “Bubble,” which isn’t unusual. It gets lost in an ocean 🌊 of magically wonderful music. We are spoiled by riches with these Maids.

This sone is top 3 for me. Gion-Cho as Band Maiko, and Daydreaming where they put U2 to shame for doing U2 better than than they do. In Minchos amazing solo, she has a repeating section of notes and each time she repeats, she removes a note and KEEPS THE TIME!!!! Sub and bell earned.

There are two ways to go. Well, more than that but let's stick with either a LIVE or an OMV. LIVE would have to be 'Domination' LIVE. That's the usual starting point for reactors, and I'm surprised you haven't done it yet. OMV would have to be 'Unleashed!' 'Blooming' is a Power Pop Masterpiece that should have been picked up as one of their anime songs. But 'Unleash!' is in anime format, and they cure COVID. How can you top that?
