Fernanda Garrido Não é bem assim a preto e branco como estás a contar. Quando se mudaram para Portugal adoraram a comida e as pessoas e começaram a fazer vídeos no KZbin a locais que iam comer. Com o tempo ganharam subscritores como eu que gostavam de ver dois estrangeiros a descobrir Portugal e a nossa comida. Muita gente no chat começou a enviar nomes de locais para eles irem visitar ou comer, e a pedir que fossem conhecer a sua terra. Acho que têm contratos com certas marcas em restauração pois a publicidade que fazem da terra onde vão e onde comem é maior e melhor do que a que se vê na nossa televisão. Portanto se agora são pagos, bem merecem por espalhar o nome de Portugal e falar tão bem da nossa cultura, gastronomia, gentes e locais do nosso lindo país. Não estou a dizer que estás incluída, mas há muita gente com inveja. Em vez de invejarem e dizer mal porque não fazem o mesmo? Comecem um canal e façam reviews de locais que vão e restaurantes onde comem. Eles também começaram por fazer isto só a ir a restaurantes em Lisboa e a ir fora aos fins de semana. Muitas pessoas invejam outras que têm dinheiro mas não sabem quanto trabalharam para o ter nem estão dispostas a trabalhar tanto. Só dizem que também queriam ser ricas, e a única coisa que fazem é jogar no Euromilhões em vez de trabalhar para isso!

Carlos Saraiva Acredito que em Portugal talvez seja complicado, mas em certos países como EUA, ainda consegues com uma invenção por exemplo ficar rico de um dia para o outro. Isso aqui não acontece com certeza. Agora que há muita corrupção em todo o lado, sem dúvida! Quem tem muito cada vez tem mais e quem tem pouco tem cada dia menos. Concordo que os dados estão viciados...

😍 That dog was a Serra da Estrela dog. They are very fiercely , loyal and beautiful. The hair it’s similar the sheep hair. They are used to take care of the sheep ( sheep dog ). You must ask José to show you the .. pedras parideiras. It’s a strange fenômenon that only happened in Portugal and in Russia 🇷🇺 Certainly Portugal have so much secrets to discover. The "pedras parideiras" can be observed in Serra da Freita, in GeoPark of Arouca. It's somewhat far (some 1h30 to 2h driving) from Serra da Estrela.

you will see that in our region we prepare food a whole different way then the rest of Portugal,the cabrito assado and the roasted potatoes are prepared with olive oil,white or red wine,salt pepper and paprika,and garlic of course!!!

What's up my boys? I live in the Isle of Man but I'm from a village called Canas de Senhorim, halfway between Viseu and Serra da Estrela. It's always been one of my favourite places, specially in the winter when it's covered in snow. Fun fact, my father and few of my uncles when they were young they used to take goats from their village up to the mountain .

Thanks for posting and you couldn’t have gotten a better guide and person to show you around. I know Jose Conde well as he’s my first cousin although we live on different continents. Nonetheless, he is a Legend in the area and not just with biological, anthropology and terrestrial matters, but he knows many of the local Shepards who still roam the Serra and Torre area and has a huge passion for what he does. I Think you should go to Celorico de Basto next, and ride the old railway, that has been turned to a scenic bicycle road, not saying you eat to much, but that you bike too little. Originally the railroad went to Porto, but now it’s the perfect place to enjoy your bicycle in Northern Portugal. And it’s Wine country too, you know.

Went to Serra da Estrela for by Birthday in December...My girlfriend from Brasil had never seen Neve, there wasn't much, but enough to push her down the mountain in an little sleigh...We stayed in Covilha and toured through Manteigas, Belmonte and surrounding area, absolutely spectacular...Hiking, Waterfalls, Village's and etc...Did I mention the...Queijo!

As a Portuguese vegan I can tell you that it's veeery rare, you're lucky if you find a vegetarian option, but there's no such thing as vegan Portuguese food. It's easy to find vegan places in the downtowns of Lisbon and Porto, and Algarve too. But outside it's rather rare. If you do come to Lisbon, there's a place called "Ao 26 Vegan Food Project" where they have twists on traditional dishes. In Porto I went to "DaTerra" and it's amazing - but not traditional - you will likely find veggie twists of "Francesinhas" though!
