Joe Rogan is an EXCELLENT (and successful) interviewer mainly because how much he respects everyone he brings to his podcast. Most interviewers make biased questions that can bring up controversial responses from their guests. Joe Rogan is just a curious guy and asks questions about topics that he genuinely doesn’t know and that the interviewed person might know, and that’s why I love his work and I think that’s why he is successful and gets to interview so many interesting people.
@FarmerFpv Жыл бұрын
@@santrollencio3601 He also does his research on his guests. He just doesn't go blindly about his questions. He always has an open mind. But what about having no friends in your childhood because you are so obsesed with KZbin? It's just my opinion, but if I could choose between being super successful at 23 or having a good childhood and friends, I'd choose the second one every single time. Also, I do think he is a good example of hard work, but a lot of times hard work is not enough. I'm kind of worried that kids might follow his example. Imagine devoting your whole life to something this risky, without having a backup plan. Imagine completely abandoning your basic education to do KZbin and then failing. Sometimes hard work is not enough, we all underestimate the role of luck in our own success. Anyway, I'm worthless and my opinion does not matter.

I mean, he even said that he is considering running for president in the future. @@xmathmanx Not true IMO. Even things you love can become a grind. Conscientiousness allows you to push through those times. People who only do what they "feel" like doing rarely have sustained success. Look at the level of work ethic that some of the most successful people have in their lives - it is usually very disciplined. Although, I would agree that the necessary level of conscientiousness might go down if you do something you are passionate about.

@@scratchpenny I would argue the precise opposite, for me the work ethic is a ridiculous con on the 'lower' classes, as it seems clear to me that the biggest factors in any individuals 'success' are clearly random. Our models of how everything fits together are simply very different I guess.
