I've experienced this type of anxiety Christopher mentions, its scary. I was the same way, shrugging off anxiety like it was some fake experience people manifest for excuses. It's so much more than that, it can be terrifying. I lived in a mental Hell on the edge for 4 years before i finally broke free. I'm glad to hear that he has worked through it. As well as him, i smoked too much, for years not knowing that the smoke is what triggered it all until i took some shrooms. Then my mind literally told me "its the weed dude" i quit smoking and life instantly got better, but a lot of the anxiety still remained, i brought that battle amongst myself, and I've finally made it through. I will never claim to have defeated it, for i do not know of the future. But i have won this battle in my current years, i am 31 as well. Good luck to you all that will deal with this and or are dealing with this. It is very painful to experience and a lot of people wont be able to comprehend it. And this is the magic of Rogan, and why this podcast is the #1 on the internet. That the most powerful interviewer in the planet can sit down with an average country guy bewildered at his own sudden success, and not only make him feel relaxed, but feel like it's just two guys sitting across the campfire holding a beer. And then Rogan can talk to a presidential candidate 3 days later, and make him feel at ease too. It's really phenomenal. Joe find the humanity in everyone, and the humor is all part of that. To those who are still seeking, still questioning, still not sure about their faith, here's an invitation. Understand that we, as humans, are limited. We often make mistakes, go astray, and lose our way. It's not about perfection; no one is. As it is stated in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Recognize that actions alone won't bring ultimate salvation. It's not about counting good deeds against the bad. Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Believe in the transformative power of love and forgiveness embodied in Jesus Christ. He laid down His life so we could find ours. The Bible states in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." True change and enlightenment come when we turn away from our old life and towards a new one - one guided by compassion, love, and humility. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." Express your faith, not only in words but also in actions. Embrace love, kindness, and righteousness, just like how Jesus lived His life. As Romans 10:9 suggests, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Consider baptism, a symbolic gesture of your new journey, your decision to leave the old behind, and embark on a new life in Him. Matthew 28:19 encourages us, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Lastly, remain steadfast. Consistency in following Jesus and His teachings is the key. As Jesus says in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commands." This is not a demand but a warm invitation. An invitation to explore, to understand, and to experience a love that transcends human comprehension. A love that saves, heals, and brings life.
