Oh oh let me share a uber story! Last time my driver asked me (Chinese Canadian) :"... so in China, is it like... do you all keep pandas as pets?" Me: "I... we... I don't ...WHAT?" Driver: " You know, pandas. Are they like dogs?" Me: "I...we...umm...SORRY?" Driver: " I've seen those internet videos, people keeping pandas as pets." I ended up telling him that pandas are endangered species and no one is keeping them as pets. But when I returned home I kept thinking if there's any answer that's crazy enough to beat that question, like: " Oh yeah, just like dogs, but taste way better." Or: "No no, more like horses.
