I'm having problems when one data tab in sheets has dynamic dropdowns that use type Refer and when I create a document (pdf) the Worker and Contractor from other tabs a referenced using the ID column and I want to see the Workers Name and the Company they work for not the unique ID for each. Any ways I can do this? Looking into other wanys to create dynamic dropdowns without using Ref types

Hello sir, is there anyway to auto fill in a variable information in a list added in the drop down list. Say for example, I have added Login Time (insert time). And then when I choose that option, I want the option to automatically include the login time inside the parentheses (just like this: Login Time (08:00AM)) . Is there any way to do this in appsheet? I am new in AppSheet, thank you for your video; it helped me to create something similar, but I receive an error in the form, when I select, as a test, a data from the dropdown list, a message :"this entry is invalid"; in the formula I have no error. Try to check in valid if section (Data Validity)maybe you put some formula

It works like this, as dropdown list, if I don't set the Type as "Ref"; but if I set as Ref, it doesn't work well anymore. Thank you!

its easy when employee ID is only 10 or 20 items, but how when the employee ID data is 1000. how to replace combobox dropdown button into search text and we put manually search employee ID ??....TQ

Hi You can add a Virtual Coloum in Employee Details and make it as a Label. Then apply an app formula Concatenate([Employee ID],"-",[Employee Name]). Then in dropdown you will have a result 1256-Joe
