one of joey's most introspective interviews...always honest, and straight forward. you can see the expression on his face that jani's final years, the reunion, and his death, still strike him. while i'm happy that they have found a way to tour with robert mason, and that provides a quality income stream for him, i wish they could find a singer who was a little less bluesy, and more in line with how warrant sounded.

Totally agree. They need someone more like St. James. He was the closest thing to Jani on stage and way better than that Mason Dude.

Being through a few era's of music now I realize what a blessing it was being a youth in the 80's. Times have changed where at that time of life it seemed like time stood still. Sex, drugs and rock n roll were how we lived, always imagining we were the next up and coming stars. I wonder if these rocks stars have any idea the impression that they had on us back then. Im scared today for these legends as it seems the past is catching up with them. Whether its addiction issues, a hard lifestyle, trouble with the law, death or just simply the party days coming and biting them in the ass in ways of lawsuits. I for one would have wished to meet these individuals back in the day to say thank you. But as it turns out most today are out of touch with reality and support issues that back then they would have said "fuck you' so thats a little disappointing. Either way it did shape our lives and in the end it was a time I dont think I would live again....I got real lucky and probably should have been dead a few times over. So any 80's rockers who may read this, thanks for the good times, I got laid more times that I can remember listening to wicked hits and these memories, I will take to my graves.
