The technology IS NOT THE PROBLEM. It's the way in which it is misused that is the problem. Every technology can be misused, every gadget, every tool, every weapon. Do you ban the technology, the gadget, the tool, the weapon? No. It would mean slowly banning everything, or just devolving into anarcho-primitivism. The lack of discipline and moral standards are the problem, not so much the technology. The moral standards and discipline of the individual and the group, respectively, are what determine what use, good or bad, are things and technologies put to.
