Wildfire feels very 90's to early 2000's rock to me, almost reminds me of Bon Jovi at times. But the way they incorporate it into the game is incredible.

The best thing about this song is that it's not the boss theme. It's YOURS. The player. This is your fight song and it happens when the meteor from the boss hits as if the game is telling you to not give up and don't let that meteor stop you from finishing what you started. funny thing about this song, people say that it is Cocolia's boss theme, but it is low key a boss theme and your character is the boss (or at least it makes you feel that way around the drop and after the drop)

Right? It's the trailblazer's theme really. That whole arc in the story is amazeballs and endeared me to Honkai Star Rail forever. One of my favorite experiences in a game ever. And I have played LOTS of games.

the plot development and the logic in the cocolia boss fight was hella stupid and random but the music slaps I agree. But yeah, like why the hell did they threw us to 1v1 cocacola, saw us get stabbed, them having surprised pikachu face when the outcome was so obvious? lmao. Cocolia motives weren't even explained in the game, the game's like, "ah yeah, she's just randomly a crazy person now coz Sterllaron even tho her ancestors were never tempted by its calling", "how about the people not doing anything against her sending her soldiers to die for no reason? Yeah, lets skip that since it would complicated the overworld story". Whoever wrote this part of the story need to be replaced asap lmao. The suddenly appearing in space to look at random filler about cocolia being crazy instead of explain her motives to see why shes called "mother of deception", and into an anime power up was hella generic too. If the music had been sht I would've dropped the game lmao.

@@Spiritbreaker636hsr got a lot of plot holes. basically, uses a lot of cliche templates and plot development. bronya x seele relationship made no sense. cocolia wasn't built up as a proper villain or a character at all prior to our fight, and she just dies like a nobody. our group threw us up to 1v1 cocolia and was surprised that we got stabbed and lost. extremely overdone the melodramatic moment in most part of the story that it's hella cheesy/cringy, etc. The music was the only thing that was good about cocolia fight, other than that, it's insanely overrated.

They coded the music so the big strong hook comes at a key moment of the battle ! If you don't reach it, the first part loops. It's also what's great with video games music : you get to really play in a way regular music to image composers don't always get to as well !

Your reaction has been long overdue! This piece was great, but the way Hoyoverse implemented it into the boss fight was even more amazing. Instrumentals only for phase 1 made made the vocal drop on phase 2 absolutely CRAZY! I remember it making me jump out of my chair despite Honkai star rail being a turn-based game (which is probably good cuz I would've lost otherwise due to vibing to the music) But yeah, aside from being a boss theme, this one felt more personal, it was a climax of an amazing journey (thx to no paimon prob) during which you got to know a bunch of interesting characters and learn about the world in which the story was set. Truly, HoyoMix doesn't miss.

"It has words, someone is singing", this made me chuckle as a honkai impact 3rd player. Idk why but for some reason genshin is the only big hoyo game which doesn't have songs with lyrics. While both honkai impact and honkai star rail got them. Also if you like you could react to songs from honkai impact 3rd. My personal recomendations would be regression, true, oracle and oath (there are live versions of those songs if you're intrested in that).
