i really like the comment about the instruments being artifical- as this whole trailer is for a world/planet thats legit a dream (synthetic/fake) world. legit you had a lot of points that i wouldnt have noticed but were so story relevant.

At 3:00 and 3:51, You mentioning how a lot of the instruments are synthetic and not real, plus the "video-gamey" nature of it, actually made me realize maybe it was intentional. Penacony, the new planet they're teasing, obviously seems modeled off some idea of Las Vegas- the flashy and opulent clothing, slot machines, and atmosphere all support this. However, Las Vegas is also a place notorious for its vice and sin. What the trailer really seems to be hinting at is the superficial front that Penacony is- it's a world that on the surface is one of glamour and cooperation (it's patron goddess is literally goddess of harmony), but underneath the fake cover it's tragedy and pain: Perhaps even a castle of sand built upon suffering or lies.

i find it interesting that all the sounds and musical instruments sound without any echoes and so syntethyzed they're almost unrecognizable. In this MV they're promoting a new world in the game that's known as "the land of dreams" as in, literally, you enter a hotel, fall asleep and enter the same dream as everyone else and its kind of like, las vegas vibe. And the fact the music sounds like that its as if we're dreaming the music so the sounds are distorted.

Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG that takes place in the "Hoyoverse" (The Hoyoverse consists of Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact and Star Rail, Star Rail and Honkai Impact are ALMOST like seperate timelines because many of the characters you see in Star Rail are different versions of characters in Honkai Impact. The story is amazing and if you're open to trying new games this one definitely takes the cake together with Genshin. But... Ehm, GENSHIN COULD NEVER. (Those who know they know) Edit: Honkai: Star Rail has amazing music from boss themes to general music to music videos. But Genshin does has much much more of that and considering the music is made from the same company you can imagine how amazing it is. GO GET IT SON

HSR is a pretty new game, only on 2.0 and less than a year out, but it's going amazingly so far. turn-based combat and very well done story. since you've already checked out wildfire, the next big star rail song to check out is Samudrartha - absolute epic banger you should also check out some Honkai Impact 3rd music, they have a ton of incredible OSTs and even full songs, it's been around for a while so it has some absolute bangers. Personal favorites of mine include Dual Ego, Oaths, Oracle and Regression

Hoyoverse (the company that made Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact) is well known for their absolutely AMAZING music, and they took it to a whole other level with Penacony (the new world that this song was a teaser for). They actually made a live action music video of this song! I'd recommend checking it out. And yeah, Star Rail is a very story-heavy game. What might surprise you though: we are not fighting the trashcan, WE are the trashcan! The MC we play as is pretty obsessed with trash cans, and Penacony is a literal dream world- as in, most of it takes place within a dreamscape. It's based on retro Disneyland, with the clock guy being the mascot a-la mickey mouse. As for other big Star Rail tracks, here you go: "Wildfire" (best experienced along with the gameplay and cutscenes, as the music is interwoven with the visuals in a unique way) "Samudrartha" hoyo also has a sort of music video on their star rail youtube channel, very excellent viewing, and also has translated english lyrics, since the song is in chinese the multiple Phantaylia the Undying songs, "Pedujara" (the lyrics, unlike the others, are not in english or chinese- it's done by traditional Dong choir, a small and dying ethnic group in southern china if I remember correctly, and is in their language. this song has brought their culture and singing to literally millions of people, and is majorly helping keep it from dying out) you're gonna wanna start with "Ephemeral Cycle", then "Even Immortality Ends" and finally "Demiseless Existence"- they're the three phases of the boss fight, sort of like separate songs but all connected. "If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking" a song that is canonly sung by one of the in-game future playable characters Star Rail's music is INCREDIBLE! but these are the ones that are the biggest tracks, playing during important moments in the story that really make you love and appreciate them all the more. I hope you enjoy it, and would definitely recommend playing!
