this might be an unpopular opinion but i think he’s the best male singer in starkid. and that’s without mentioning how perfect his portrayal of all these characters are. joey’s technique is so technically good and he can make stylistic choices with his tone that don’t damage his voice, a thing that is no easy task. sorry to all the dylan stans but as much as i love him, he has way too much laryngeal tension for me to get on board with him being the best male vocalist for starkid.

I think he's the best singer in that he is very versatile with his voice, as he's often singing as a character or doing a specific voice, which is really hard. We've also been able to watch him improve over Starkid's history.
