Joey is definitely missed. It's really not the same in my opinion with listening to just Rory because I believe Joey made them famous and made them a great duo. Rest in Peace Joey 🕊️.

My mom and I always talked about taking a trip to Marcy Jo's, with hopes of meeting Joey, Marcy and maybe Rory. We never got to make that trip because Mama died in 2015 and Joey, just a few months later. Anyway, every time I see a Joey and Rory video, I think of my mom. The world is crazy these days and this song is so true. Rory is one helluva songwriter.
