I can't tell you how awesome it is that you ate the whole thing like a sandwich. Probably about every other speed eater out there would have deconstructed the whole thing and eaten the meat first and the cheese then the bread. It’s interesting…some of these “competitive” eaters had overweight disorders before (I don’t know about Joey, there’re others with channels too). What’s curious is how they turned this aspect of their psyche into eating massive amounts of food, competing & looking “healthy” (thin). I read somewhere that part of that “training” is to ignore the gagging reflex, and some researchers where curious about what that does in the long run (the brain never feels satiated). The effort of the body to consume such amount of food must surely bring problems in the long run….but who cares, they’re entertaining us 😅 Cheers!

Look at erick the electric dude does eating challenges pretty much weekly and has even done daily challenges. He is super skinny like 165 pounds or something. I mean he may look crazy healthy but the amount of stress he puts on his body doing 60 mile bike rides and eating 20000 calorie challenges will eventually show. A lot of super endurance athletes actually face kidney failure during extreme events. Idk I pray nothing happens to them but I always think what are they gonna be like at 60? Who knows most of them will probably live normal life’s but they have to have some type of health scare doing this stuff
