They had used flux you could see it. They just hadn’t connected the pins. Probably done without a microscope.

Now that I’ve watched like ten of your videos, I just had to subscribe. Your videos are entertaining on a whole different level that I didn’t know I enjoyed. Watching you troubleshoot the problems and figuring out what parts need replaced or whatever is wrong is strangely satisfying. Makes me wonder if the PS3 I had a while back was fixable. I had three different people look at it and they couldn’t figure it out. Had something to do with the graphics. Games would play fine for a bit then the graphics started acting funny once it got hot. I would get screen stretching images. Like all of a sudden the players fingers would infinitely stretch out or race games the wheels would get infinitely wider. The first place I took it to just blew it out with an air blaster. Second and third place took it apart and didn’t have any idea. I took it to a fourth place when the system wouldn’t boot up properly and they told me they couldn’t do anything. I ended up selling it to someone for $50. They just wanted the hard drive, but it was probably corrupt. I originally got it off Amazon for $3.99 when a friend of mine informed me of the Amazon error in their pricing. Out of everyone my friend told, I was the only one able to get it for $3.99. I think it was because I only ordered one system and everyone else ordered ten or more and were going to sell them for full price. Mine got dubbed PS3.99. It had a good life. I wonder if you could’ve fixed it. Watching your videos, you do a lot better job at diagnosing and repairing. Thank you for great content.

you can get a UV LED strip and then fill a transparent box with hydrogen peroxide and it have the UV lights shining in on it. Removes all the yellowing from the plastic overnight.

I'm curious, I've noticed you often mention warranty stickers. Do you do this for the sake of being thorough? otherwise those stickers are not allowed/do not affect warranty from the seller in a lot of countries (not sure on factory warranty though.) regardless of that this was a fantastic job! £55 pr. Series S is INSANE! You should collect them all and go to a market instead and make a some bundles with 2 controllers and a few games - and sell them for £150 - £200 with with a month or 3 warranty (Depending on what you are comfortable with. Also you can sell more "dodgy" ones at a lower price with 1 month and just be completely honest and say they were "tough repairs" - with 1 month - and the "good ones" with 3). I bet you they would sell - and just the fact that the basic levels of them still sells for around £200-250 from new, the extra value of the extra controller and whatever games you sell them with (Many "kids" games can be found for almost no money - and at a market that's probably who you should be aiming at!) + the fact that you will be selling to locals - will make the whole thing "easier". ALSO - Show off your channel m8! Make a clip of you fixing the consoles and put on a laptop or tablet showing you repairing that specific console! Total "dad" bait right there! 😀 I personally - even though I do what you do as well myself - would be grabbed by watching you fix the exact product I'm buying - AND it shows that you aren't just gonna "f off" on the warranty you give. Essentially they will "know where to find you" - on your channel - which WILL give some peace of mind when it comes to trusting a repaired product. DON'T sell them for £55 m8! You are literally giving them away at that price. Even as a media center they are well worth more than that!... I am actually considering buying all of them off you directly and paying for shipping to Denmark if you do that - because it would be a VERY easy flip m8! Seriously - Market my man! I BET you it will be more than worth it! Especially if you put in a bit of effort in the stall and showing off your skills! And OH YEAH - That has the added bennefit of not paying the insane fees for selling on these sites - and you being able to pass on those savings to the costumer/pocket the money. Up to you... but I'm struggling to justify £55 for a guaranteed functional Series S m8! I would say it's "dumb" but I'm not gonna because I think you are pretty intelligent! 😀 (Yes that was a dad-joke if anyone is in doubt!)

Oh yeah forgot another thing (Been a while since I did this sort of thing due to my "source of materials" went on retirement - and I don't have free time to do the work to get it from random places) BUT - you can ACTUALLY get find some VERY lucrative work with offering to buy faulty electronics and sometime fixing "easy stuff" on the spot by bringing a portable solder station and stuff like HDMI ports and cleaning equipment etc. at the market. What I did/do is have a few signs - 1 saying "Don't trash your broken electronics - bring them here first and if I can use it for parts, then I will give you a "few quid" (Or some other kind of playful way of saying that it WILL be a smaller amount yet you will be as fair as possible - not a native English speaker so surely you can do it better 😀) of credits in my store" - and another sign saying that you do (I call it) "Electronic first aid" where you can attempt to fix faulty hardware - but people only have pay you if you succeed - and making it clear that if they want you to try and repair it - then it's their own risk and you don't guarantee that you can fix the problem.
