I think that this is possible! at 25:28 Joey said that Shelby had earned Joey's respect because of piracy she committed. It suits Corsair story. He blesses those who are faithful to his Laws of Piracy (Corsair’s Law). Idk if Joey would go into this direction.

Build ideas: have a dark gothic lighthouse near the entrance of the cove, a gothic castle for you to live in that look over the town below and the docks. Another idea: since now you're a "god" of the sea, you could change your skin to look like a pirate king combine with with a sea god. Plus, it might make you even more intimidating.
