I should add that I brought in a feral 15 years ago so my kitty could have a friend. I wasn’t concerned with getting attention from her as long as she and my boy cat bonded. They were besties for 14 years and now that he’s gone she’s a little lost so we got her a friend. She and I have also bonded big time and love each other very much but there’s something cats get from one another that they can’t get from humans. I think they can get it from other animals too.

Dee Carrier Jackson Galaxy has some very useful tips on how to get your cat onto your time schedule regarding sleep. They’re naturally nocturnal. It can be tricky with kittens under 6 months because we need to free feed for 6 months but if it’s really bad talk to your vet about meals vs free feeding for the super young kittens. Having a routine that includes play time with you, a meal, grooming, then sleep can help to get your kitten on your sleep schedule. Feed them three meals a day with no less than 6 hours between meals and no more than 8 hours and schedule the last meal to occur half an hour before you plan on going to sleep. When you play with them before feeding them you’ll want to wear them out as much as they allow you to. In the beginning I’ll lay down in bed with the light on because kittens seem to lay down to cuddle and sleep when the light is on. When we lay down with the kittens and the lights are off they want to play. All of this has helped us with our own kittens over the years and helps with the foster kittens.

Rosa M I see. Fostering is different than what he was describing/talking about in my opinion. I haven’t been keeping up with the fast couple videos, if he had mentioned something about it there. He was just making it seem like they adopted them, I think he even used that word. I totally agree with fostering and somebody giving that love to animals that need it. I don’t agree with people that think animals that they adopt as pets, are disposable. It would be more responsible to get one and decide to get another later, if you see what I’m saying? All my my animals have been rescues and I am thankful for the foster families that my animals came from, and the other foster families that donate their love, time and money.

Trial adoptions are a thing. You can't expect to click with every animal, and having more than one may not fit their lifestyle. They went into it knowing Taurus might not stay and wanted to try it out. I'd much rather people try it out and decide early it isn't working instead of keeping an animal a long time and then getting rid of them later.

I think it would be super cute if Taurus could be adopted with Gemini because many rescuers actually recommend keeping the kittens together in pairs and sibling kittens are generally very bonded, more so then dogs so you are unlikely to end up with a Moon and Shadow situation, however obviously it is up to Gemini’s adopter

I've noticed something a bit weird about my own female "mommy" cat while watching these videos. When his kittens were newborn, and had their very weak "meows", as I watched his videos my girl cat would constantly look for the new kittens. She couldn't seem to grasp they were on the computer. She would look all over the place, to the extent that as she looked, if my dog (a shepherd/husky mix) happen to be around she would attack her. As though she was protecting these imaginary kittens from my dog. But now when she hears the older kittens meow on the computer, she couldn't care less. But if I go back to earlier videos when the kits were really tiny, she begins over protective actions again. Makes me wonder if there's something about the sound of the kits now that they're older that triggers this response in the queens (Sakura and my Isis-named after the Egyptian goddess- not the bad people) that makes them no longer be attentive to them?"

4:33 oh this explains why you pronounce Sakura like that lol. You watched the dub when you were younger. I did too, but I switched to sub when I got older XD. The original japanese version was called Cardcaptor Sakura because Sakura is the main character. They changed it to Cardcaptors when it came to the US because they wanted to make it marketable to boys too and maybe compete with Pokemon, which was silly, but oh well hahahaha. They also downplayed the Touya and Yuki relationship in the US version hahaha (because the US wasn't ready for "cartoons" portraying guys being in love apparently). Seeing them play together is just reminding me again why I would always have 2 cats. Seeing them play and sleep together is just the cutest and personally something a human cant provide. Cats are so independent, I dont understand how 2 cats can be too much. Glad Gemini has someone to play with again.

As someone who has taken care of itty bitty kitty's having two is so amazing. Four of my seven cats are siblings. Two sets, my oldest and youngest. My oldest are bro and sis I've had since were a week or two old. The other two are sisters and I got them when they were maybe a month old. If anything them always having a friend or buddy makes having a cat 10xs easier. And they are all feral kittens turned pets/family.

unfortunately chances are he’s adopting to friends or friends of friends at most. i imagine it’s hard to accept adoptions over the internet since he really doesn’t know anyone, and a lot of people would adopt the kitten for superficial or bad reasons.

Look at your local shelters or rescues. These aren't the only kittens that need homes. Plenty of kittens are in kill shelters that would otherwise be euthanized if not adopted. I myself have already fostered 14 kittens this kitten season for my local rescue.
