Daniel was gentler which desensitizes them more. Going more slowly, warm water, treats, on their terms is a bit better to help acclimate puppies to the water. You don’t want dogs to be scared of the water

for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list: - Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy) - Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel) - Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix, adopted from a rescue as puppy (?), lives w Daniel) - Lark had babies (accident at doggy daycare)! seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue) - Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal) - Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but he ended up having aggressive tendencies due to littermate syndrome so he had to find a new home like the others) - Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her) - Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) - Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter) - Hen (foster mama from junkyard) - 6 junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose) - foster mama dog Roo - Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey) - Daenerys (white foster mama kitty) - D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea) - took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck - May (foster mama husky) - May's babies, the Months litter (January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October, November, December) - Coco (husky foster mama pt2, false pregnancy, surrogate to Disney pups) - husky babies abandoned in box (Disney litter--Copper, Pluto, Bolt, Scar, Bruno, Darla) *the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed!

You weren’t on my radar at all before this. I have never followed you, never gave you a thought and all of a sudden.. you’re one of my favorite KZbinrs. Your video getting this litter is what popped up on my suggested feed and I’ve watched each video since and plan on continuing following your journey. Thank you for helping these dogs. Rescue needs more people like you willing to open their homes to foster. You’re doing amazing work. I live in southern Louisiana and there are so many abandoned dogs here. We don’t even have a state-appointed animal control in my parish. Most parishes government funded shelters are poor excuses for shelters. Some don’t even spay or neuter and are essentially legally-functioning dog flippers as they do still charge fees for these dogs. One shelter even sold a dog for $25 to a man who told them he was going to breed her to his other rescue “until he gets the color he wants” and that if they didn’t produce his desired color, that he would be back to pick another dog. Then we have independent “rescuers” who end up hoarding dogs, flipping them or just neglecting them. One of these independent rescuers was even stealing dogs from people and would rehome them in other states. It’s heartbreaking working in rescue down here. It’s literally like trying to fix a leaking dam with duct tape and gum. So thank you Joey. Your videos are bringing me joy and a bit of peace. I hope you never stop fostering. I hope more are encouraged to foster and adopt. And for everyone.. if you don’t want to adopt a shelter/rescue dog… just make sure you choose a breeder who isn’t going to forget about their puppies after you pay them. Find a breeder who cares to contact you and asks for updates. Find a breeder who has a return contract, that way if for any reason you can’t keep your dog the breeder will take it back. An ethical breeder will never let their puppies see the inside of a shelter if they can help it. Thank you again. Have a lovely night with your foster babies!

@@craftqueen8118 thankyou guys but I'm used to cancer I've had it my whole life, I'm 17 and have had it 3 times starting from when I was three two were leukemia (got a bonemarrow transplant) and this summer I got esophageal cancer very rare in young adults. I now can eat again after 10 months of not being able to eat or drink water. Now I had thyroid cancer, and I'm like 58 pounds (4ft 11) Im severly underweight, it's been tough and his videos make me smile and stay calm🙂 sometimes I like others worlds better than my own.

Omg this is the content I live for. My dream in life is to open up a cat sanctuary here in Mississippi. I pride myself in taking in the kitties no one else wants. Right now, I have a cancer cat named Taco (I had 6 cancer cats but, Unfortunately with Feluke, all you can really do is love them until they die) and then I adopted a "Spicy" kitty nobody wanted because she's rude. My cats have brought me through one of the worst years of my life. With health issues and the death of my mother, I can honestly say that without them, I wouldn't have made it through. Animals are the very definition of pure and honest and I can't wait to pull my life from the crapper so I can love even more of them. Thank you for all you do for animals. I love it when entertaining people go beyond that and are actually amazing people as well.

An idea on how to make bathtime more tolerable for everyone. Step 1: prepare the inside puppy pen Step 2: take one puppy at a time to a bathroom with a tub Step 3: smear peanut butter in licking height in the bathtub Step 4: wash puppy, they will be distracted by the peanut butter Step 5: dry off and put the puppy in the inside play pen. And now it's rinse and repeat 😁 EDIT IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: Huskies are double coated dogs. It's important to dry them off properly or else they will start rubbing and rolling after bathtime. This leads to severe mating that is nearly impossible to brush out and might require shaving. Shaving double coated dogs can forever ruin their fur structure, cause skin irritation and in worst case lead to alopecia. Puppies this age usually still have their puppy coat, so this doesn't apply to them, but I thought this might be important for other people washing their dogs.

You should have bathed them in the sink like Daniel did. Dogs have a higher temp than humans do so that water is freezing to them. Their normal temp is 101 to 102, so you need hot water
