The first time my rescue Husky did that I thought something was wrong with him and called the vet and told them I could pluck him like a chicken. They laughed and told me about coat blowing. The puppies and mama milky are adorable! Not sure what kind of lunatic would dock Goldens but I'm very happy they're with you now.

I rescued my Angora cat from a horrible breeder as well. The animal shelter has a few fosters like Joey, and one of the shelters managers was Chocky's foster Mum. We got her at 4 months, now she's 6 years old and our sweet baby. She was almost on the unadoptable list because of her fear of men. However, her Cat Dad is her favourite snuggle buddy when he gets home from work. She ONLY greets him at the door. Now SHE loves our 4 month old Siamese kitten Yuki. 😊💖🇨🇦

There is a noticeable difference in how Milky interacts with Joey based on the tone of his voice. When he has his sassy, loud, playful voice on she displays nervous queues like lip licking and yawning. When he speaks softly and slowly to her, she is giving kisses and wanting affection. Little things make big differences! No hate ever, Joey does an amazing job and it’s important to get them used to a range of tones of voice 🫶🏼 just my observations

I 've noticed that everytime you touched the babies she would lick your hand. She might think your gonna hurt the puppies or something when you go to pet them. But I love your fostering videos. Thank you for what you do. :)

Check out how bad laser pointers can be for animals to play with. It makes them anxious and they feel like they can never actually get the object. It’ll make it harder for them to relax in a room with any sort of light reflections bouncing around.

Inside addition did a story on a golden retriever yesterday.😂 A burglar was talking and rubbing the dogs belly before steeling an Ebike out of the garage.😂 Friendliest dogs on the planet is an understatement. 😂😂😂

I have Aussies and I always say that shedding season for a Australian shepherds is only every year from January to June and July to December. However, August, is it’s very own special hell. 😂

Joey. You can't play laserpointer with dogs because they can literally go crazy. There's a syndrome "Laser Pointer Syndrome" and basically the dogs get OCD, and their prey drive kicks in and they go insane because they physically can't catch the light. I didn't know this when I used to play with my dog. I thought it was fun too. And then I found out about the Syndrome. It's serious.

I’ve seen a few cases where breeders will dock the tails of their female puppies that don’t normally have docked tails if they know they will keep them for further breeding as a way to “make breeding easier” :( Since these pups where rescued from a breeder that could explain what happened with their tails

Huh. Tail docking. Gotta agree that the previous owners doing that is weird for that type of dog. Hate that stuff regardless. Hope they heal up well! Also Laser Light + Bubbles Machine are the two primary ways we entertain our dogs. The light at night to chase and the bubbles during the day to chase/bark out!!

When you called the mom Milk/Milky, I instantly thought of Milkyway, which is both part of our galaxy, and an ice cream/dessert place, which allows the puppies to either be named after stars and planets, or other desserts! And thank you so much for helping all these amazing animals. If I had the space and resources to foster furbabies, I definately would. Every animal deserves to feel loved 💞
