Reacting To THAT Tyson Fury Interview...

After falling short in his quest for UNDISPUTED title fight with Oleksandr Usyk in May, Tyson Fury gave his first official interview last week.
In this interview Fury claimed that he only felt Usyk won 3 rounds of the fight and also that he was 'having too much fun' and that the fight was 'too easy'.

I mean, I'm Ukrainian, so for me it was even worse to hear that from him, but at the same time I understand that he was not in the right state of mind at that moment. He was fresh out of the fight where he got his face smashed in, so I wouldn't expect him to say anything reasonable or sensible. I think fighters just shouldn't get a microphone shoved in their faces right after the fight. Remember AJ's meltdown after the rematch... Both men apologized later, both men never said anything like that ever again. Only in the heat of the moment. So I wouldn't make such a big tragedy out of it. Again, this is coming form a Ukrainian who, in the normal circumstances, obviously would be the first to address Tyson's words.

To be honest like TG has implied in the past, Usyk typically takes rounds off, and historically speaking 4,5,6 are rounds he even lost to Joshua (1st fight) Fury was just able to capitalise better in those rounds that Usyk takes off. So it’s not like Fury did anything unprecedented.

It's a closer fight than people give it credit for and I was surprised how close it was. That being said there's controversy in Usyk's favor when it comes to A) round 9 knock-down and B) not being a UD for Usyk. No matter what Tyson Fury is the betting underdog for the rematch and nothing short of a miracle will change that. Fury must finish in the first 5 rounds or he's pretty much lost after that point.

Fury in preparation for Usyk just lost weight, aesthetically he looked leaner in the second Wilder fight despite being Heavier. In his rematch against Usyk I think he’ll be in a similar shape to the second Wilder fight since he won’t have to go through another fat loss camp Fury will be heavier and stronger, Usyk’s punches that hurt him will feel like feather dusters in the rematch and Fury will walk forwards and stop him People know Fury has a good chance of winning which is why they all wanted Usyk to retire Usyk is getting dropped

Two glaring differences, Fury was definitely not close to getting Usyk outta there, Fury easily could’ve been stopped. And the notion that Usyk was losing badly against fury until round 8 is nonsense. Usyk does this in every fight, presses and makes his opponent work and empty the gas tank when they don’t want to, then downs them. Very straightforward Fury can win rematch BUT he needs to pay off two judges not just one and of coarse keep the pocket Ref. If Fury follows these simple instructions I see Fury getting a split decision or a draw at very least. Specsavers are still doing £25 eye tests so if Fury continues to see himself as the winner maybe a trip into town may help.

Frankly Fury is flawed, he is however trying to drum up interest in this rematch as it is necessary to protect the commercial value, remember this is an enormous consideration at these levels. Usyk demonstrated superlative all round boxing attributes, noone who is qualified would contend that but this will need hype.

C'mon Joey, it's quite obvious that Tyson Fury wasn't "having fun" at all when he was showboating like a clown in the first few rounds. The truth is that he was actually quite *terrified*. His whole demeanor before the fight (for example that BIZARRE Morecambe press-conference) showed that he knew Usyk is going to be the toughest opponent he ever faced. Also: you skipped the part in which Fury says that fighting Usyk was like "fighting a local amateur"... such a statement is completely indefensible. Fury either lost his mind or perhaps he's just 'trolling' the viewers.

I’ve raised the following issue on other videos but I think it’s important to say it again: I am bipolar. These mood swings don’t come in and out every few minutes or days. They appear after weeks and in my case months and sometimes years. I think Fury has “selective bipolar” imo. I like your channel Joey but you've got to stop being a Fury fan boy. Fury got his arse handed to him and is totally delusional. Anyone who thinks Tiresome Fury won that fight does not know boxing. The referee in that fight had took a bribe. Fury was well on his way to getting knocked out. Usyk won that fight unanimously. The rematch if it happens, which I don't think will happen, will get beat again. And this time will not get saved from a knockout. And again ,stop being a Fury fan boy.

Yeah sorry but I’ve always loved Fury but I’ve definitely lost respect after. I don’t k know anyone who watched that fight and said not only did Fury win the fight but it also looked because neither were true by any stretch. So to think he’s winning anyone over is funny.
