Awesome tour! Loved every moment. Jackie was truly a great american who is deserving of the kind of respect that you have shown him throughout your 4 part tour. It looks like you had fun with it too and enjoyed it as the enthusiasm in your voice was easy to hear. Kudos to you my friend!

When I lived in Stamford, Connecticut, I drove along Cascade Road in the North Stamford section, where Jackie spent the last years of his life. By that time, he had served on the Board of Directors of Chock Full O' Nuts Coffee. His house was on the lake, I believe.

Very cool to visit these locations! I'm from Montreal and there is also a home where Jackie lived when he played for the Montreal Royals and its now a historical. Have you visited it?
@Joezeppi14 жыл бұрын
I've never been to Montreal, I'm always happy 2 hear when they make a house a historical site, thanks 4 watching!

For a guy who played his entire career in Brooklyn, you'd have thought Jackie would have stayed in the same neighborhood, instead of moving to the Queens.
@Joezeppi1 Жыл бұрын
I obviously can’t say for sure but I can say this is a much nicer house in a much nicer neighborhood

I wonder what Robert Moses thought of Jackie. At the time, Moses was a New York Power Broker who was also a racist.

If it wasn’t for Robert Moses the Dodgers would still be in Brooklyn where they belonged
