My father was in a service, we lived near by the airfield/base. The sound of that aircraft up in the sky was an everyday element of my childhood. I always loved that roar. I've never been too fond of those jets. It's just noise to me. Pozdro666

You know, in the beginnin' of 90s our An-2 pilots often did crop-dusting works in Egypt, as there was little work for them here, in Belarus. it was a time when soviet aircraft was mostly unknown in the West, so, when first An-2 landed in Kair, the foreign airmen came up to her to look at. "Hey, guys" -asked they - "What kind of work are you gonna do? CROP-DUSTING??? On this barn with wings??? Oh well, I guess youre VERY GOOD pilots!..."

I happened to click 2:30 by chance without watching the full video, and I was concerned to see the door hanging out open. So I skipped back to to 2:23 by chance, and saw an even more concerning sight: An ambigous figure in black throwing themselves out of the plane🤣🤣🤣. In the end I scrolled back and saw what was going on, which made sense. But it was very amusing at first.

Is the pilot a woman? I see very slim hands in beginning. I ask this because in the past I have seen comments from supposed An-2 pilots that say the controls require a great deal of muscle. Like a shovel in wet cement, they say. I will never fly this plane, so I like designing a realistic fantasy, I would like to know how much struggle to put into my vicarious experience;-)

How to damage engine ASAP. When you fly minutes up, your engine and oil is very hot, when you after climbing up set low RPM and fly very fast down, temperature of your engine is going down very fast and this is worst thing you can do to your engine. Not familiar with radial engines or the AN-2 specifically. Do they not have Carb Heat? That's what you normally activate on descent especially when flying on low RPM. From what I understand, radial engine power management is drastically different from others - you never really idle it, you are supposed to maintain higher RPM on descent, which is why the descent profile of something like a DC-6 is really shallow (500 fpm or so), so I can imagine diving like this is not particularly a sound idea.
