Goals and plays of Johan Cruyff, One of my fav players of all time, not only cuz of his technique but also the creator of total football. The Dutch Master in F.C Barcelona.
Johan Cruyff was a Dutch professional football player and coach. As a player, he won the Ballon d'Or three times, in 1971, 1973, and 1974.[1] Cruyff was the most famous exponent of the football philosophy known as Total Football explored by Rinus Michels, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in football history.[2][3][4][5] In the 1970s, Dutch football rose from near obscurity to become a powerhouse in the sport.[6][7][8] Cruyff led the Netherlands to the final of the 1974 FIFA World Cup and received the Golden Ball as player of the tournament.[9] At the 1974 finals he executed a feint that subsequently was named after him, the Cruyff Turn, a move widely replicated in the modern game.
At club level, Cruyff started his career at Ajax, where he won eight Eredivisie titles, three European Cups and one Intercontinental Cup.[11] In 1973, he moved to Barcelona for a world record transfer fee, winning La Liga in his first season and was named European Footballer of the Year. After retiring from playing in 1984, Cruyff became highly successful as manager of Ajax and later Barcelona; he remained an influential advisor to both clubs. His son Jordi also played football professionally.

la verdad nunca le he visto nada del otro mundo a este Cruyff, sin duda un gran jugador pero no entiendo por que lo ponen al nivel de maradona,pele,messi ,garrincha o ronaldinho. me parece un jugador por encima de la media,pero bastante tieso y enbarillao . siempre he buscado documentarme sobre los jugadores que nos venden como los grandes genios de la historia y que no pude verlos jugar,para asi juzgar por mi mismo,y encuentro material de casi todos hasta mas antiguos que cruyff, pero siempre en mi busqueda hay una anomalia y es Cruyff,(y en menor medida Di stefano), entonces que explicacion puede haber para que se le nombre tanto en el top 5 de la historia?, o es como aquella mentira que repetida mil veces se vuelve verdad?,y esa mentira repetida mil veces puede tener dos origenes : la preponderancia historica de la tactica holandesa que derivo en un sin numero de entrenadores de ese pais,con autoridad en el mundo del futbol y que por nacionalismo influenciaron mucho en la opinion historica sobre este jugador. la otra seria gracias a un lobby barcelonista que tambien tiene bastante autoridad ideologica en el futbol mundial, bueno la verdad eso es lo que se me viene a la mente pero quizas estoy equivocado.
