This makes my soul ache...such profound loss with Johann's passing. It's been several years but I cannot get it out of my head, particularly when his music was my own wellspring for cathartic release. Luckily, we still have Olafur Arnalds, Max Richter, and Hans Zimmer, but what talent. Those four gentlemen are/were the Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, and Beethoven of our generation.

Along with max Richter and Hans Zimmer, these three composers spiked my interest in neo classical music. I'd say Johan was my favorite however. Theres such a deep feeling if melancholy and beauty in his music that really tears at your soul.
