Many years ago, when the first Three Tenors Concert aired on TV, I watched it with my mother and carried a torch for Placido Domingo. My mother replied “Who cares about the tenors? Give me the conductor anytime!” Zubin Mehta, every time I see him perform I understand his genius, but more than that, I hear my mother’s voice in my head and see her face before my inner eye, and how she responded to his virility. He sure dies have it, doesn’t he? She passed 10 years ago. Zubin Mehta helps me keep her alive. Thank you so much for uploading this video. This was her favorite kind of music.

Top world class orchestra under the baton of a great conductor. It doesn't get any better. "Schnell" is right. The best and fastest performance I've heard.
