Johanna Basford - Small Victories | Colored Pencils - Lyra Color Giant, Caran d'Ache, Castle Arts

Hello lovelies!
Today I'm finishing up the page we started last week in Johanna Basford's Small Victories Adult Coloring book on the live stream. I'll be using Lyra Color Giants, Caran d'Ache 6901 and Castle Arts Gold colored pencils to finish up the page.
I started the page with Prismacolor Premier, Jane Davenport Magic Wands and Derwent Lightfast colored pencils.
Do you have a favorite brand of colored pencils? I still think mine are Prismacolors but there are a few close contenders!

Super nice Kimball. I really liked lissen to your thoughts and giving a voice to the feeling while you worked with the pencils. I got my eye on the fat barrel Lyra!... I imagine they are nice to work with. I got the Magnus Faber Castell watercolour pencils and love them because of the fat barrel.

If you like fat barrelled pencils with fat cores, the Cretacolor 36 Mega Color pencils are really nice. I use them for large area colouring.

Thank you! 🧡 Honestly, they all worked great. I, of course, still love the Prismas but Luminance comes in second. I need to explore a bit more with Derwent, I didn’t play with the colors as much but I know I like them a lot too. I just prefer softer leads over hard ones but they all play a part in the world of coloring! 🧡☺️
