DIY Hair Tape Extensions - Master Hairdresser Johanna Z

Hair extensions seem very difficult to do at home, but if you watch my video, you'll see that they're not as hard as they look! The only problem is that you'll need to find someone other than yourself to do them for you.
With some patience, you'll be able to help your friend's hair look fuller and more luxurious so have a look and enjoy this video.
Lastly, don't forget to buy the right extensions as these are the ones to use and are so easy to apply.

this hair taping method is the best!! you did a great job by sectioning off the pieces of hair and applying it on top of the tape in hair extension. and then adding another tape in extension to sandwich it. i feel like the other method that people tape on pulls the natural hair out. they tape it on to the section and then flip it over n tape it on the other side to sandwich it. that method doesn't hold enough hair between the extensions making your natural hair pull and it slides off too soon. i've lost alot of hair from people cheating and trying to do the faster method

I would love to see you do curly hair extensions for natural fine hair. I have natural curly hair but as I've gotten older my hair is not only fine but also thinning naturally with age. It's easy to do straight hair but I haven't seen anyone do curly hair tape extensions. I love this new tape extension product. Which brand do you like best? Love your videos. Thank you!

Great video..How long will these last? Can you replace the tape if it loses the stickiness? Do you remove them before shampooing the hair? I didn't know tape ins have been around for awhile. I'm curious as to why it isn't more popular?

Hi yes you can wash your hair, you can Brush your hair but very carefully on where you have the tape, the extensions are wavy, you can't use oil shampoo like ex. Moroccan shampoo , The extensions can stay approximately between 2 months 😘

Good video, the one thing I absolutely hate is when my clients come in for a wash and style, and their tape in extensions have stray hair traveling from above the ear to the back of the head stuck in the tape in. Cleaner sections please ;).
