I remember Barney Simon playing this on 5fm the night they announced Johannes passed away; it will always stay with me. Pragtige lied.

The english must lie about that. They have lied about poor afrikaners from day 1. We will trash white englishmen in africa once more. We will be known as the Boers. Otherwise trashed as the boer settlers by blacks whom they hated from the start..

Vlad Putin of cyrilic alphabet is a bad loser. Russians et al can try to stop people like m. Moscow stills stays a shithole. Since 1342. The land of the Rus.

@@revolutionary4209I know nothing of their school but I know some English schools here in EC have Afrikaans for their students (not sure if it's compulsory or not) but the English lads overthere treat it as a big joke anyway, yet if I dare speak a word Afrikaans in my English lesson the teacher throws a tantrum. I went to an Afrikaans school btw. In my school, most subjects are in my language except maybe electronics or physics which is English. And English 1st additional (home language) or 2nd additional is mandatory. It's a small school so Xhosa first additional or second hasnt yet been added but there have been talks of adding it in the future, other than the gr.7 lessons we had in primary. All the Xhosa kids in the area go to the traditionally English schools anyway, and I doubt they study in Xhosa or if they even have it as a subject either, because when they already talk it at home, their parents just send them for the quality education, the English is just seen as a necessary evil, these days it's also viewed as an international language, so possibly to get a job. Now if I went to a school in a nearby township I would probably have mostly Xhosa subjects and only English for the English lesson. My teachers get payed exact same as the township school, school fees was only about 20k, yet I had better quality facilities and probably education than the township kid but our English is same lvl because we both have a lesson daily. This is because my school was built for Afrikaans people almost 100 years ago and the township one was not, and even though dispite Anc for last few decades putting money aside the school and education is still nothing compared to my one, no development. The kids get to school and barely listen to the teachers who dont care even though they have same salary as my teachers because schooling starts at home. Teachers job is to teach not discipline children, that's good parenting. My grandpa told me recently, people always moan that white people had facilities but when he was growing up noyone had toilets the British outhouse tiolet system only became popular in my dads era the 60-70s because plumbing in SA only started in the 1920s and it took 40 years to reach average middle income houses, he also didnt have electricity, only my dads era and even then no washing machine, so hand wash. But what my grandpa did have was a job because he as a white man was favored and his parents survived on state pension which I asume favored whites too. This was the 50s just out of great depression and with SAs fledgeling economy it was a struggle. But some black people never understand this they look at the past from their modern lifestyle and hate on all Afrikaners for their own problems.

An absolute anthem for South Africa. May God guide our people put vote those in who WILL change our Country for the Better. This could be 'the New Dawn' we were praying for, not the one falsely one we were promised, by tongues that know how to lie without conscience or remorse ❤
