Yes, I did check in a bag - it wasn't over the weight limit, so I'm not sure how they strict they are on it. I would rate the customer service an 8 out of 10.

How many passengers ?

SQ's long-haul A359 has 253 seats in total - the flight was almost full, if not full, so it would be close to that number.
