It is the CBD that is very unsafe. But here it is quite safe and there's lot of private security vans patrolling.

I stay in CBD and almost every weekend I walk to Houghton as part of my routine exercise and just to cool off my mind and dream big. It is a very peaceful place and am currently working very hard to buy a property there. Thank you so much for this video and for showing the beauty of our city to the world.

Heeeeeeeh! KILLARNEY and HOUGHTON in Johannesburg 🇿🇦 are 2 of my favorites suburbs of this particular great African city. Especially HOUGHTON with its long and large streets and very quiet place. Sometimes I go there to relax by reading my book (David BALDACCI, Robert LUDLUM, Dan BROWN, John GRISHAM, James PATTERSON, Frederick FORSYTH, etc) while seating on the side of the road. The same thing can be said about ROSEBANK 🇿🇦 residential area. KILLARNEY and HOUGHTON are separated by M1 highway/freeway. Keep up the good work! Love this! 🔥🔥💖💖💖

Thank you for great video. We moved 10 years ago from SA to New Zealand, now missing SA terribly. Everybody told us it is unsafe, but I still love it. Are you from SA?

I’ve only been to Johannesburg once...like all cities it has some amazing areas and some truly awful areas..(and also great food btw)...but what this video does show only confirms my initial impression of Johannesburg ...I found the city to be one of the least pedestrian and bike friendly places that I have visited...

The typical british style of this country with the top grass is amazing. Super clean. Someone like me have a preference for Pretoria ? :)
