He washed only the feet of the people. "Not just my feet but my hands and my head as well." You could interpret it as hands symbolizing someone's actions and head symbolizing one's thoughts and intentions. The feet could symbolize the past and the path that you've walked before. So by washing our feet he forgives our past, only when the hands and head is clean. Because without those you won't enter heaven. (my assumption take it with a grain of salt) So by having Jesus as "Your way" your feet will also become clean. And if he washed our feet, we should wash one another's feet. So we should forgive the past and wash people's feet (help them get to the good path)

I understood the washing of the feet to reflect custom for entering the home. It was to prepare the disciple to entertain home of the Father. Yeshua is preparing rooms in his Father's home for us. Therefore, we must wash our feet in faith while we are in the life. If we are in the walk, then the old is dead and washing of the feet may not symbolize the washing/passing of the old. Baptism would accomplish this.

Having a pur hearth and mind is just turning away from sin, we are constantly battling ourselves, we are humans and have good and bad thoughts within, if we act accordingly to them you already know the result. That’s why choosing what’s good and acting according to that is the way to. Excuse me for my English and ya it’s coming from a guy who fell deep after so many blessings. Again He said ask for any thing in My name and I shall do it. Who can make such promises but the One true God who has all power. Then I believed in Him that He is truly from the Father.
