Been there brother. I was so exhuasted from trying to quit. Jesus gives us so much rest. I believe it is when i sat back and realized i was still alive. Although all the bad choices and all the things i was doing to myself God still kept me alive. Its then that I heard him say "We still have a lot of work to do." from that i heard he still loves me, he doesnt hold my sin against me and he wants to use me for his purpose and good. You know what I often think about? Not only did he take the torturous pain of the cross- he stayed on it. He could have come down. No human would ever stay on a cross in torturous pain and not come down-if they could. Jesus did. He wasn't human-if he was he would have come down. He didn't come down -and he could have. I'm experiencing some of the same issues with the lust of the flesh. It wants me to give in to the desires to watch inappropriate content. It wants me to give into self gratification. I want to walk in Yeshuas light and finish out my race strong giving our Lord all the glory and honor.
