This is not a true tele, it is a dual hum bucker hod rod that is a tele in shape only. Check out Richie Kotzen, that dude also shreds and he too plays a tele.

Amazing! This video was a huge surprise too! I didn't even get out of bed this morning before I heard his new song. As soon as I shut off my alarm I opened iTunes store on my phone, bought the song, and listened to it a couple times. Oh and keep doing the studio videos. These are amazing!

Never knew about this guy until I saw him live a few weeks ago at The Whisky a GoGo...I went to see Ace a Frehley because I am a big KISS fan, needless to say, just like everybody else there got soooo impressed with the guitar skills of John, AMAZING guitarist! In the end: win win, got to enjoy not only Ace but discover a real master of the guitar and I can say I’m a fan of him now!!

Careful with that Axe is still my favorite John 5 album because you can hear the fact that it was recorded in collaboration with the bass and drums, instead of the other members of the group simply being directed by J5 to follow along, they work together like a real band and the results are a lot more memorable than his past solo releases

Are you serious? When you add two humbuckers to a telecaster, it isn't really a tele anymore (maybe a Deluxe, but they used Fender wide-range buckers).

man I just started learning about this band and I like the whole thing.. it's only a three piece and I would love to fucking sing with a band like this. I also like the imagery and jocular perspectives they're right in my scope of expression for understanding and appreciation. Unreal. The drummer is tighter than a nuns ass, and John 5 killed it as expected. Every time I watch one of John's videos, I'm like, "Bring it." Then, he slaughters it, and I'm like, "I'm sorry I doubted you, John 5". He doesn't put up a video unless it pushes the bar for guitar solos, and punishes its listeners.
