No not really. He might sound decent on that thing, but he would sound even better on a good guitar, obviously, hence a good guitar is better to play on irregardless of lvl of playing skill. However you cant claim you cant play a certain song at all on a cheaper guitar, but you can however claim you cant play it how it is suppose to be played.
@TimmyTheKitty5 жыл бұрын
yes, all guitars play the same, only thing that really noticeably changes is your skills but if you suck, you will suck on a $1,000 guitar with a $5,000 amp as well as a $50 guitar and $100 amp.

TheTyler701 please enlighten me
@TheTyler7015 жыл бұрын
EpiphoneDude theirs a ton of stuff you do. But lts mainly when you change them. That’s what decides how they do. A: always tune the strings “up” so that lt tightens the string. So if the lower E is at f#, don’t just go down to E. Go up from D. B: when you change the strings, pinch the strings at where you pick and retune. ln addition, also bend all over the neck. You will tune and retune until your strings are broken in and you can’t untune lt simply by bending the strings. This will prevent a fresh set from “settling” lnto the wrong spot. C: always wipe your strings down with a cloth after you play. The oils from your hands not only ruin the strings way faster, but also messes up the intonation and how well they hold tune.

@yoshistover58814 жыл бұрын

I stumbled upon John 5's stuff when I started getting serious about guitar just by happenstance, I always knew who John 5 was but wrote him off because he was the Marilyn Manson guitar player. Nothing against Marilyn Manson or their music, I like some of it even, but not really the most technical guitar stuff on the face of the planet. So when I found out just how good he actually was I basically fell in love with it at first sight, what was weird and I guess most unique to me the most about it was that he had such an interest in country/western music as well when everything else about him screams metal/hard rock.

In all fairness, that's not an entirely accurate thing to pull from this video. The video is just a quick joke and nothing more. That toy guitar is going out of tune, sounds like poo, and everything you would expect from a toy guitar. If you sat down some random bedroom guitarist next to him with a legit instrument, and covered the screen, you would most likely think that the person with a good instrument is more enjoyable to listen to. Maybe you'd notice John 5's technical ability is way better, but to simply enjoy the sound of the instrument, then probably not.

ROCKING!! I love John 5. This is cool but him playing all these songs on a Hello Kitty guitar makes it that much cooler! Thank you guys for having such a killer sense of humour and for sharing all these wonderful videos for all of us to see. Very entertaining and enlightening. When I first saw the Zakk Wylde video I thought that this was a real joke but that was so cool to see him defy the normal way of thinking about guitar music. This is great! I wish that everyone had such a great sense of humour and humility and not care about the normal constraints of how people think about musical instruments and the way that they can be played.

When people ask me who my favorite/who i think the best "overall" guitar player is, John 5 is typically in my arguments. His diversity/skill/passion is 👌👌👌!!! Friday nights he can play banjo at a locol fair, and Saturday night hes playing metal. I would bet big money that ANY band could call him and he would fit rite in, no matter the genre.
