It's called "Zoinks" because John had to use almost 1% of his power to play this

The problem is with people like John 5, Buckethead and other fantastic guitarists, is that only other guitarists are able to appreciate their playing. Brain-dead pop music is popular because it lacks anything musically interesting and anything technical. People are able to chew up pop music and crap it out because it follows a cookie cutter formula.

@@twobeansonecreamliterally nothing to do with it, technical guitar playing has never been as popular as it is right now lol

Formidable. You can't have a (valid) conversation about guitar players in this day and age without John 5 being a part of the discussion.

Super guitarist, John 5 is way underrated with his style of playing he is more unique I've found than most who's aim is solely to shred fast, he does that too, but in a way bit more different way.

I’ve always loved Steve Howe, still do, but John 5 excites me with every note. He is genuinely awesome, the real deal....never have I heard a guitar player with his magnitude of talent....ok, I will reserve Rory Gallagher also for that list of two, and Rory is in my heart forever.
