I was ten years old in 1980...lol I saw the John 5 sponsored NASCAR car at the Martinsville race, it was definitely the coolest paint scheme out there! Keep playin' that groovy rock-n-roll music, brother... I still really want to see John 5, David Lee Roth, Michael Anthony, and Alex Van Halen go out on tour to conquer the planet one last time together, hell, Sammy Hagar could join the show too...lol The show could have "Guest Guitarist" at certain shows for certain songs! It would be a "tribute" that I think Eddie Van Halen deserves and something I would think his brother would want to be a part of...idklol? I'd also like to see Blackberry Smoke be one of the opening bands for the shows, to give it a festival type atmosphere and because they're the best rock-n-roll show out on the road today...lol There's my sweet-n-sticky...lol ;-)

In my opinion the most versatile guitarist in the Rock business. I thought Gary Moore was that guy, but when I saw J5 in the creatures at The birchmere I was f****** blown away. J5 Makes it look so easy, in that neck bar you use so frequently......boy you got to have strength in that hand

As good as he is as an opinion Gary was the best as he had much more experience & his playing was a fierce, he just was not a shredder & didn't really bother with the super technical side of playing like John does but let's face it they both are & were at the top of their game all the time. I would love ti hear John play something of Gary's & you can bet he knows just who Gary was & i know John could play Blues if he wanted to but it's not really his thing. Like Gary he never ceases to amaze us.

I remember John 5 being with Marilyn Manson's band then he went on to play guitar for Rob Zombie's band. Glad to see he is doin his own solo music. Only thing that I'm not use to is no one is singing any lyrics. But i don't care, I have a open mind to try to listen to music without someone singing. keep rockin and rollin John 5!

This particular music broke free the idea that John 5 is on the level possibly beyond that of Petrucci,Vai,Satriani,Govan any of the greatest John 5 can contend with them. What a great composition bro this kicks ass just like everything you do,kinda Bucketheadish stylistically but who tf doesn't love that. Hey one of the great guitarists arpund today. I dont do lists but I saw him with MM at a dual billing with Orianthi and Alice Cooper. There were some guitars going off that night indeed. John Five is an excellent musician. He makes the Marilyn Manson Band go. All the big hits are him driving the things. His guitar . I consider him one of the very best players we have in Rock today. On any given day you could rank him #1. Lol who could argue? I enjoy his works.
