In my eyes, country music of today sounds more like rock n roll, not country like country used to sound in the 60s, 70s, 80s. This tune sounds like a true country tune, the way it should sound. Great singers such as John & Big/Rich. Amen

In the 90s I took care of a disabled man in his home. We were both in our mid 30s. We watched CMT and we had a friendly rivalry. He preferred young country like Tim McGraw and I preferred the classics like Johnny cash. The one we agreed on was Jon Anderson. Perry was only 36 when he died and they played this song at his memorial service. Then he went to the land of the Seminole

Beleive it or not I just came back to this song and re read our comments. But after meeting Kenny and learning more about him. I am going to revise my earlier comment. Kenny has a pure heart and lives to help other people. No matter color, race or creed. He' s a good man. So if he takes part in a tribute to John Anderson, he' s doing it because he respects John Anderson. Forgive my earlier comment.

♥️♥️John Rich is a good man!! He does so much for others, veterans, St Jude, the Tennessee food pantry, Folds of Honor, he's a true American Patriot, not to mention his amazing voice, and his many other talents, I greatly admire and respect John Rich and Big Kenny for everything they do!! ♥️♥️

lol I so agree with you. Notice the expression of Joh Anderson in this video. He is so trying but his look just says shut the hell up. Yes I like Big and Rich. But, where the hell they been lately. Get my meaning? Flames flare up and they dye out just as quickly.
@1carolinasunshine15 жыл бұрын
You know what, when you put 2 different artists together that probably have not practiced together much and they try to do a song, then your going to have a mistake or two. The original was probably recorded in a controlled studio with all the bells and whistles and dubbed to the video. This was live, they were having a good time, and I found it utterly intertaining.

John Anderson reminds me of another John we all know and love!! He sings the sad,sad truth of greed, the mutilation of God's Green Earth, and the hatred for our fellow man. A true Gem. PS, Think Kinzua Dam.
