I realise I'm a few months late on posting. Been a fan of JA since his first record hit the charts, was sorry he had the health problems that caused him to not be in the studio. Folks like him and Randy Travis helped keep traditional country music alive and well in my way of thinking, both being hampered by health problems. This last album of Anderson's, 'Years' is a mind blower. As a has-been musician myself, I can really appreciate both the lyrics and the melody of every tract. However, the one that really blows my mind is the song that many of us have been waiting, sometimes decades, for: I'm Still Hangin' On.' Don't know how he nailed it, but he did. Combat PTSD is hard to explain to anyone, easier to just crawl off and wait it out, hoping you don't hurt or push someone away in the meantime. Finally, a song that speaks volumes and volumes. Jeepers, he nailed it.

My grandpa and mom used to sing "Swingin'" to me when I was a baby, 12 years later my favorite song became "Seminole Wind," and just last year (ish) "I'm Still Hanging On" became my favorite new song of any genre by any artist. And through it all John Anderson's music sounds every bit as soulful and true as back in his early days. Hasn't lost a BIT of his touch. May God bless you John, hope the coming years are the best for you!

Hometown boy from Apopka FL. Grew up listening to John and still listening. Can't wait til it comes out. John never got the glory he deserves but one of the best true country artist in modern history. May God bless you and wish you well.

John Anderson has a haunting and magic sound to his voice. His voice is like a good wine, it improved with the years. Just found out about him this year, but good to know he is Back On Solid Ground, and in any event ready to go Home. Any songs about home sound the very best. Just a simple but elegantly honest type guy, but one who now loves the Lord after so many Years.

My mom loved swinging. My favorite country song is 1959. But he is pure talent. All his music is awesome. My two best friends in high school and i drove old chevy trucks. Mine was a 1955. John was a1967. Andy’s was a 1949.. I guess that’s why I always think about when I hear that song good memories

John was a great singer, awesome singer, but he struggled to sell tickets to live events. Most likely because he never was considered sexy, he played a ton of big shows, but never really was considered superstar status , it's a shame cuz this man has a golden , real country voice rarely matched.

For someone with cochlear implants please the music in the background is horrible and you can't hear the words it is like music just drowns it out. Yes we do hear almost as normal as y'all but electronically.
