@@jayetheviking1221 The choir is actually a choir of non-professional singers (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hallenser_Madrigalisten, only in German, unfortunately). In 1987 they recorded an LP which I think contains some quite breath-taking performances, including (and in particular) by Gesualdo: sound-history.ru/50998/ (A wrong year of publication is given on the Wikipedia page, it was indeed recorded in 1987, though re-issued on CD in 1998.)
