Hey Hey & I were born the same year & when old enough I watched every saturday growing up together changing from morning kids to night adults missing very few episodes, the Hey Hey Team are like family to me & I miss visiting them every week. Thank you Daryl for allowing me & everyone else who loves Hey Hey these little moments on YT & allowing us to share not only the Hearty Laughter but also the sadness in times like these when we lose a loved one😭😭😭😭😭 Much 💞 to all my Hey Hey Creator families & Viewer Families John, Dicky, Mrs Mac etc may you all Rest in Peace with Angel

Will never forget this show and the characters on it. Loved Dickie Knee and will always have fond memories of me as a teenager, my Mum and my Dad sitting there on many Saturday evenings watching and laughing. Goodbye JB.

A man of many voices. Always, and still do, have a absolute laugh at all the different characters. The sound effects that went with it all are classic. Dickey Knee getting whipped 🤣. Thank you Mr Blackman for all the laughs. ❤ Thank you Mr Somers for these clips. ❤ HHIS.

Like all good things, I took John Blackman's work / entertainment for granted for 20 years - I know it's a cliche, but "you don't know what you've got until it's gone"

originality was the key to it all. Very creative television, a voice over character no one saw providing the laughs. Id like to have been around the production meeting when somoene came up with the idea. Im sure it would have met with skepticism? But he sure made it work. Had professional funny men stumped when at his mercy.
