Goes back together a lot easier than it comes apart.

My dad was a tool and di maker, and I watch a few Farming channels and you definitely build a lot of interesting stuff from scratch

Ethan, yes tearing things down and letting it sit for a while makes you have to think a little bit putting it all back together. Thanks Michael

You are good. I'm afraid I wouldn't remember how it goes back together, lol. Looks good and I presume you smoothed the shaft off camara. Looking forward to the next video. This was interesting. See you soon.

Winterize that well with corrosion inhibitors and it will last you a very long time. I’m pretty confident ours has close to 100,000 gal through. Wore out one planter and swapped it to the new one and it’s still getting it done.

Have you thought about doing a test between liquid and dry fertilizer this year to determine which method is best?

Metering tubes might be a better option instead of orifices.

Where did you get the parts to rebuild the pump from?

Did you decide not to smooth the shaft so it wont wear on the seals or just didn't record it?

It’s polished

So the bolts to the intake and output gotta have a bit of a taper to them since theyre one way? Kinda makes sense in my brain.
@Oliver66FarmBoy5 ай бұрын
No. The holes are different sizes top and bottom.

Is that a Bridgeport mill? When I was in my twenties and thirties I made a lot of air craft parts on a Bridgeport mill.

It is. My Grandpa has one. I know that head badge shape anywhere.

How does liquid fertilizer compare to dry for yields?
@Oliver66FarmBoy5 ай бұрын
Fertilizer is fertilizer. It all does the same thing.
