Most underrated British singer songwriter. Man's a legend to those in the know.

Absolutely gorgeous! Saw you at the Kitchen Garden on the 18th Dec , went in blind not knowing about you at really, apart from one I Am Kloot song I heard 15,or more years ago in a shopping mall, that’s all I needed to have heard to know I wanted to see you, you were outstanding, what a treat ! All the songs were beautifully touching, 👋

Delighted to hear this as like you, booked the upcoming Dublin gig, based on a Bill Bailey Walks soundtrack, fell down a musical rabbit hole which led me to John Bramwell. Knew I an Kloot but looking forward to purity of vocals from singer songwriter for a change, as seen lots of bands last couple years. Great to hear a recommendation 👍

Like a good wine, he gets better with age. One of our finest songwriters. Cheers John.

What a great song, what a great album. Appreciate it! Really! But I still also miss I am Kloot! Go ahead, John. Love....

Wow. Thank you, John - I left the UK in 2003 and have only just come across your songs (in the band and solo) thanks to, of all places, Love Island playing "Storm Warning". Thank you for sharing your muse with us. You are a blessing.

This song is beautifully done and pulls at my heart strings. That one 'thumbs down' must be a mistake - unless the person simply does not have the ability to feel human emotion.

Leave alone the empty spaces - - cool advice for prose writers, too. Hemingway knew it. He said you could leave out what you know and because you know it, leave a space and it would still be implicit on the page. Typographic space. Conceptual space. Kurt Vonnegut knew it best of all, and in that space, his refrains can resonate. And JB lets the lyrics breathe that way.

There must be some far off places, to leave alone the empty spaces. Kick around, leave no traces that I was ever there. I was ever there. Fill your days up with tomorrows. Take one of your sorrows. Pack-up what you have borrowed as if you were never there. You were never there. I have lost days without number to the easy peace of slumber. Walk to the distant sound of thunder. I was never there. Never there. I have been some far off places. Leave alone the empty spaces.
