A comedy for better or for worse. The fusion of stand-up and stage-play, Wedlocked is a hilarious look at love, family, and motor vehicle permits.
Needing to renew his driver's license, John arrives at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and forces a conversation on a reluctant stranger. Since the other guy doesn't want to talk, John fills the awkward silence with stories and insights-hoping to prove he's "not crazy, just married."

Dear John, I thoroughly enjoyed your set. The realities were hilarious. Yet... all the while I listened to you I felt a sadness in my heart. Then when you told the story about Great Grandpa & Grandma Mamie... I wept & am still crying at the tenderness you shared. The frailty of life & love so demonstrated in our elders care, is really such a witness to the strength of spirit. Yours was a wonderful story about the circle of life well lived through commitment to love. My grandma’s name was Mamie. She and my grandpa were married 75years. They were so much like what you described. I always believed my grandpa died of a broken heart just a year after she died. Their’s was a life well loved. I admire your storytelling with humor. As someone whose grandparents both succumbed to Alzheimer's the story of the great grandpa and great grandma hit hard. I still struggle to try to remember them as they were before and erase the last memories I have of them because I'd rather remember them for the people they were than the shells they became.

He portays what he has learned about love SO funny and SO tenderly. I laughed and laughed through the man's view of his wedding, living with a pregnant mother to be 4 times and still live to share with us. He took us through a young couple in love to a family with 4 young Bing ,Bang, Bing, Bang kids--- through the trials and tribulations show- ING his love the whole time. ❤He concluded by spending time with his Grandparents and their never-ending, unconditionally love. That brought on the tears and my same memories of my own life. I had no problem smiling all the way through my very happy, emotional tears. He truly made my day! Thank uou.
