I was lucky enough to see 2 of the blue and pink bikes in a small museum in Christchurch Nz and was told to sit on one of them, apparently I was the first Chatham islander to go in and sign the visitors book. It was a massive privilege and I'll never forget it. Amazing machine and an amazing man to go with it. RIP, John Britten.✌️

I remember being in turn 5 at Daytona and watching it rip in from the dogleg. Then later, seeing the blue/pink flavor exhibited by Mamola? at Loudon. Incredible story, incredible bikes.

I Love these Bikes, I was lucky enough to see two of them on the track and actually straddle one in 94 for a few moments, I don't remember which number is in the National Museum but it's so beautiful.

Motorcycle new July 2016: "It was John Britten's wish that 10 bikes should be built and after he passed away, his small team fulfilled his wishes" should anyone else wonder why there are only 10. I'd like to see one in real life some, and I'd love to hear one!

This bike was years ahead of its time, i wonder how it would stack up to the current super bikes?
@MrKdr5005 жыл бұрын
current superbikes have around 50bhp more.
@howardosborne86474 жыл бұрын
@@MrKdr500 That is due to the evolutionary engine development process ongoing with those modern race bikes. The Britten engine would also have been improved if it had continued its natural development process. Another notable point to consider being that outright horsepower isn't everything. Superior handling and aerodynamics count for a lot.
