What John means is an adjustment, when that match paused in the middle Devon should’ve came forward with his elbow for height which would have protected him from that press. The press only burned him out so bad because Devon stayed all the way outside while trying to hold it. Direct press on his bicep due to his lack of moving forward.

The only way Ermes is gonna destroy is through a press, and the same goes with Denis, and he has a flop press as well, so it'll be close, and Denis is no amateur, that every round Ermes will do the same thing until 6-0

I think Petrenko leveled up quite a bit since he lost to John… and I also don’t think Marcio was ever able to beat Johh when John was in his best shape. I remember him beating him at Mohegan Sun, but John was only 90kg thefe and they met in 90+ (so Marcio was probably 110 or so). Also on the David Letterman show which wasn’t a serious thing imo. But I do agree that it’s crazy how good John was even 2 ysars ago!!!

I don't see any Armwrestler on the entire world that can flash pin Denis, even if he was faced right now against Levan, he wouldn't flash pin not even once, but would beat him 6-0 anyway. Denis defensive ability is out of this world, his offense is really bad however due to arm length etc. Ermes and Denis fight will be long endurance fight, if things are as they are. Ermes gets it 60-40 or close. Unless Denis risks it, and tries to go for his prime, in which case I don't like that, he'd be risking his life again.
