if arm wrestling was all about strength it would get pretty boring pretty fast, and also having big muscles does mean your strong. I have lots of friends who work out hardcore and I don't I just cut my own wood and stay active and I can curl more than them and leg press more than them but I cant bench press even my own body weight haha. nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than arm wrestling a guy with arms like basketballs and beating them hahaha

Part of the sport and part of the rules, weight is allowed. Your body staying in the same place with just your arm moving would be a joke.

Body weight will only be applied when there is enough static strength in arm to stay intact. It's like who has more holding strength out of both as the same force of weight is also applied to the person who is using his whole body. Like two loops of a chain ⛓️, weaker one breaks.
