john is not the goat. he hates guys like denis and devon the most you guys are talking about how devon "disrespected" denis in trash talk, but john? He's jealous of him, he only agreed to face denis when denis was coming back from near fatal illness and was even confident and said that he would destroy denis 6-0. On aussie armwrestler's channel. He brags about destroying rookie denis and never mentioned his 2010 embarrassing loss. He also ducked voevoda in 2007. John is also a hypocrite. He cries about grip and setup yet he was shamelessly cheating in the grip against ongarbaev, irakli and oleg. He says steroids are bad but admitted to using 200 mg tren, 500 mg test and 5 mg sarms per week for 6 months on his deleted live stream. People don't respect him from inside, he has a very strong fanbase that worships him and if anyone speaks against him that guy is termed as a sinner, meanwhile john gets away with a lot of stuff. John wasn’t in the best of form in 2004 for this match. He was 195-200 lbs while Voevoda was a peaked prime 255-265 lbs.. had John been more like 220-230 lbs and in better form, this match would have been much more of a fight..

He still is Brzenk. Those years especially he was on at least close to his top power and already had 30 years of expiring which is big factor against Alexey who was not even a decade in the sport. Voevoda said that was disappointed because he waited more of a fight from him

@@Losbil6972 Yes he still is Brzenk but fact is he wasn’t in the best form for that match. I saw a video where he himself said he was actually considering retiring that year and had gotten lazy about training for a few months. 2006 version of Brzenk would have been more of a fight. It’s too bad we never got to see Brzenk and Voevoda pull more than once. Not sure if 2006 version of Brzenk would have been able to beat Voevoda in this form but Voevoda definitely wouldn’t have been able to steam roll him as easily as he did.
