He says "on there" after every other sentence or so, regardless of whether or not it makes any sense to say that. It's impossible not to notice.

I was watching this live, and the audio volume kept messing up (it started being louder or softer in the left ear). I honestly couldn't tell if the sound engineer was just bad or if they were trying to keep people awake through Carmack's speech

I´m actually playing this game this week for my second playthrough adn I´m absolutely amazed. Even better than the first time. This is the most undererated game of 2011 after Batman arkham city the second best of this year.

Rage wasn't perfect, but dammit, the shooting was absolutely sublime. Re-installing now just to experience that shotgun again.

I disagree with his consensus on audio not having much room to improve, besides mixdown sample rates, the obvious things are collision detection and/of physics triggering and even physical modeling of sound. Directional sound in-game is also something yet to be explored when it comes to B-Format modeling. Mixdown compression and clipping methods are archaic as of now (pre DA). Chained reverb convolutions are not used yet nor are a host of other problems in that general area. This is relevant

3.5 hrs, and you refuse to admit that your Company is DYING. RAGE was a joke... it could have been one of the best FPSs if you had simply RANDOMIZED the enemy placement, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... that would be tooooo much work. Screw randomizing enemy placements so people can reply the game at infininte... that would be stupid. Lets make a linear experience, that hasn't been done before. Oh, and let's make models disappear after dying, that hasn't been done either.
