Damien Priest is growing on me. I feel this story where he keeps trying to win clean but someone always interferes on his behalf is a slow burn face turn. I felt bad for him and I wanna see him beat someone, it’s working. They’ll probably ignore it but could even play into the ref not counting right as him feeling like he’s not proving himself. I feel he might get past Gunther but even if he doesn’t I think he’s coming out of it sympathetic.

I know Rock vs Cody is the plan...BUT I wouldn't mind if they pivot to Cena vs Cody at Mania. Cody wants that match. And what better way to have it than at Mania? Especially if they use it to solidify that Cody is now Cena's true successor. Also you could have Cena win the Rumble and have that one last accolade of being the second man ever to win 3 Royal Rumble matches, the first since Stone Cold in 2001. But also the first man ever to win the Royal Rumble in 3 separate decades. And build that story of Cena wanting that elusive 17th world title win.
