Bret was similar, but Bret's feel for the psychology of the ring was next level to the point that he'd build a wrestler even in a loss. Cena entered the game at 24 latest, and I don't expect him to know it like that and Vince after the failure attempt of heel Stone Cold (coupled with Rock making sporadic appearance at the same time) was never going to change Cena. Older wrestlers get way more respect and they deserve it. It’s sad seeing wwe change and think of all those matches that can never happen again because the “regulation changes”…making it safe….my stepdad and grandfather saw some wild wrestling moments and when we all grow up they will be legendary and luckily we have videos. WWE was a huge part of my childhood sadly i stopped watching around 2012. It’s sad to see all the wrestlers make it in hall of fame and hear “thank you”. Man, they really kept us entertained all this time…there is NOTHING like wwe i know it’s fake, but that business really was booming growing up aint no doubt about how entertaining them slams, intros, slap chops, bloody faces, dirty red tricks, interferences, etc were.
